WORKING TOOL INSTALLATION
● Set the direction selector switch (3) in middle position.
By holding the rear ring (
12) of the chuck (1) and turning the front ring (11) clockwise, you can set required jaw spread
and insert appropriate drill or driver bit (fig. E).
Drill or driver bit must be pushed to the chuck (
Hold the rear ring (
12) and turn the front ring (11) counter-clockwise, tighten hardly.
Deinstallation of the tool is similar to installation, only the sequence of actions is reversed.
Check position of the tool when installing drill or driver bit in the chuck. Use additional magnetic adaptor as an
extension when using short driver bits.
LEFT – RIGHT DIRECTION OF ROTATION
Choose direction of spindle rotation with the selector switch (3) (fig. F).
Right rotation – move the switch (3) to the extreme left position.
Left rotation – move the switch (3) to the extreme right position.
* The possibility is reserved that in certain cases position of the switch relating to rotation direction may be different than specified.
Please refer to graphic signs placed on the switch or tool body.
Safe position of the selector switch (3) is the middle position. It prevents accidental starting the power tool.
Drill cannot be started, when the switch is in this position.
Use this position of the switch to change bits.
Check if the position of the selector switch (
Do not change direction of spindle when the spindle is rotating.
SCREWING SCREWS
● Drilling a pilot hole is recommended; it should be slightly deeper than the length of the screw and with diameter slightly
smaller than the diameter of the screw shaft. Pilot hole will be a guide for a screw and will make screwing easier. If the
screw is located close to material edge, making a pilot hole will prevent unwanted material chipping.
Before screwing screw with head designed to sink into material use suitable drill to bore front of the hole.
If you encounter difficulties with material penetration when screwing, remove the screw from the hole and enlarge the
pilot hole slightly (its diameter, depth, or both). Remember to leave sufficient amount of material to grip the screw.
In case of repeated screwing make few first revolutions manually. If the screwing is still troublesome (it may be when
wood is hard) try using lubricating medium like soap. Liquid soap is best for this application.
Push the drill adequately to prevent rotation of driver bit in a screw head. The screw head may be damaged, it would
make screwing and even unscrewing of the damaged screw more difficult.
DRILLING HOLES
● When drilling a hole with large diameter, it is recommended to drill smaller hole and then bore it to appropriate diameter.
It prevents overloading the drill.
When drilling deep holes, drill gradually to smaller depths, then remove drill to remove borings from the hole.
If a drill jam occurs during drilling, turn off the drill immediately to prevent its damage. Change direction of rotation to
remove the drill from the hole.
Keep the drill in the axis of the hole. Keeping the drill perpendicular to the surface of the processed material is highly
desirable. Doing otherwise may cause drill jam or breaking a drill in the hole and a user injury in consequence.
Long lasting drilling at low rotational speed of the spindle may cause motor overheating. Provide periodic breaks
during operation or let the tool operate at maximum speed with no load for approximately 3 minutes.
Drill is a maintenance-free tool.
Clean the body with dry cloth. Do not use any cleaning agents, as they may damage the casing.
1) limit.
3) is correct before starting the tool.
