Remove the PC housing

7.3 Repair
7.3.1 Remove the PC housing
With DVD drive


Proceed as follows when a DVD drive is mounted:
1. Remove the mains cable 0 (¶ 87)
2. Remove the DVD drive 1:
– Loosen the fixing screw 2.
– Push the DVD drive to the right.
– Carefully take off the DVD drive.
– Remove the ribbon cable 3.
3. Only for fanless devices: Loosen the three screws 4.
4. Remove the housing 5:
– Loosen the three screws 6.
– Carefully pull the housing 5 off towards the front while passing the ribbon cable 3
through the housing aperture.
