Use of fireguard
When using the stove in situations where children, aged and/or
infirm persons are present a fireguard must be used to prevent
accidental contact with the stove. The fireguard should be
manufactured in accordance with BS 8423:2002 (Replaces BS
6539).
Use of operating tools
Always use the operating tools provided when handling parts
likely to be hot when the stove is in use.
Aerosol sprays
Do not use an aerosol spray on or near the stove when it is
alight.

that might occur, the possible causes and the remedies.

ENVIRONMENT

8.1

General

Packaging materials must be disposed off in accordance with
the regulations.
8.2

Stove

When the stove has reached the end of its life, you should have
it processed in a responsible manner, so that the appliance or
parts of it can be used again.
Do not dispose of the stove with unsorted waste, but take it
to a recognized collection point.
Contact your local council for information on available
delivery and collection systems.

WARRANTY

The warranty for your Dik Geurts stove will be provided by
your supplier. In case of complaints, you must always contact
him. You supplier will contact Dik Geurts if he feels this is
necessary. The factory warranty is valid for two years after
the date of purchase. Parts like the glass, glass sealing and
vermiculite plates do abrade and have to be replaced regularly
so are not covered by this warranty.
