Attention:
• Please do not point the microphone head directly to the front of the speaker(s) on the unit when you are singing,
it would cause unwanted feedback sound that may aff ect the performance of your unit.
• Tapping or dropping the microphone while it is on can permanently damage your microphone. Resist the urge
to swing the microphone around by the cord!
CD Operation
This unit is designed to play CDs and CD+Gs bearing the identifi cation logo respectively. If the disc does not con-
form to the standard, it may not play properly.
NOTE: The unit may not be able to read CDR or CDRW disc correctly. The readability depends on the quality of
recording produced by CD recorder or CD writer.
Turning on/off
• To turn on the unit, press the STANDBY button, the stand by indicator will light to full brightness.
• To turn it off , press the STANDBY button again, the standby indicator will light to half brightness.
Loading a Disk
1.
Open the CD door, place a CD or CD+G disc in the compartment with the printed side facing upward and the
shiny side facing down.
2. Gently close the CD door. The LED window will display the total number of tracks. If no disc is loaded, it will
display"--". If a CD+G disc is loaded, the CDG indicator will light up.
PLAY/PAUSE
Make sure to unplug line-in cord at the rear of unit before CD operation.
• To start playing, press the PL AY/PAUSE button. The fi rst track [1] and the PL AY/PAUSE LED will be lit.
• To temporarily stop playing, press the PL AY/PAUSE button. The PL AY/PAUSE LED Indicator will fl ash.
• To resume play, press this button again.
Pressing pause repeatedly when a CD+G is playing may cause distorted lyrics on your TV screen. Any distortion
will remain on the TV screen until it is refreshed either during an instrumental break or the song is stopped and/
or the song is started from the beginning.
