Cleaning Instructions

With the use of a MicroGard Filter or One-way Safety Mouthpiece for

each patient, cleaning for the components in the patients' gas path is
recommended once a month.
When using a paediatric/Adult disposable mouthpiece without a filter
under the prerequisite that the patient was instructed only to exhale
into the Micro I device, the following parts have to be cleaned once a
day: Volume Transducer, Mouthpiece adaptor and paediatric adapter.
WARNING: With any other use as described in cleaning instructions,
the Volume Transducer, Mouthpiece adaptor and the Paediatric
adapter have to be cleaned between patients
The Cleaning of the Transducer, Mouthpiece adaptor and Paediatric
adapter is equal for all the components in the patient gas path and is
described in the below section "Cleaning the Transducer"
