Profitip zur Ergänzung des FOLIA TEC®
ATOMIZER-Kits
Statt der Versorgung des FOLIA TEC® ATOMI-
ZER-Kits mit Druckluft über das Reserverad,
kann ein Wassersprudler mit CO 2 Gasflasche
verwendet werden.
Hierbei wird der Druckschlauch mit Reifenven-
tilanschluss gegen den Druckschlauch mit
CO 2 -Flaschenanschluss getausch.
Achten Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme der CO2
Flasche darauf, dass alle Steckverbindung fest
sitzen (Arbeitsdruck ca. 8-10 bar) und sich der
Absperrhahn des 2-Wege Ventils in geöffneter
Stellung befindet.
Diese Funktionsweise ist wie oben unter Punkt
5 (Inbetriebnahme) beschrieben gleich - ledig-
lich das Befüllen des Reserverades und Öffnen
des 2-Wege-Ventiles entfällt. Das Auslösen der
Druckluft erfolgt nun über den Hebel
(Drücker) der Abschlussvorrichtung.
Bei dieser Verwendungsform werden die Aus-
trittsdüsen auf Grund des zu hohen Druckes
nicht montiert!
Wichtig:
Diese Verwendungsart des FOLIA TEC® ATO-
MIZER Kits" mit CO 2 -Gasflasche ist der Einsatz
gem. StVZO nicht zugelassen (Mitführen v.
Druckluftbehältern). Für Bereiche außerhalb
der Bundesrepublik Deutschland: Bitte beach-
ten Sie die landesspezifischen Zulassungsbe-
dingungen.
Anwendung des FOLIA TEC® ATOMIZER-Kits
nur für Ausstellungs- und Showzwecke.
Nicht im Straßenverkehr verwenden.
Keine Gewährleistungsansprüche bei unsach-
gemässem Einbau, Manipulation der Bauteile
etc..
Keine größeren Gasflaschen/Gasflaschen mit
mehr Druck als die von handelsüblichen Was-
sersprudlern verwenden.
Wiederbefüllung der Wassersprudler Gasfla-
schen durch Austausch gegen entsprechende
Flaschen aus Fach- bzw. Supermärkten.

sure hose with tire valve connection, 1x back
pressure valve (picture 1), 1x 2-way valve
(picture 2), 2x Y-pieces / plug connection (pic-
ture 3), 2x spray nozzles (picture 4), 1x plug-
type connector (picture 5), 6x hose clamps,
16x stainless steel Phillips screws (M3 x 18
mm), 4x cable ties length 80 mm, 1x installa-
tion instructions
Tools needed for installation:
Rechargeable drill, metal drill bit 2.0 mm or
max. 2.5 mm for drilling the screw holes, cut-
ting knife, scissors or side cutting pliers for cut-
ting the pressure hose to size, Phillips scr-
ewdriver.
Installation Note:
Read the entire instructions prior to installati-
on. Take your time with the installation of the
"FOLIA TEC® ATOMIZER-kit".
As a rule, keep the length of the pressure hose
as short as possible. Make sure the plastic
pressure hose is kept away from sources of
heat (exhaust system, heater etc..).
All hoses must be cut straight and vertical
when cutting the length to size.
The pressure hoses are inserted in the plug
connections without force and lock in place
themselves.
To release the plug connections, press the
"blue release ring" and pull the hose out.
Please do not use force here, so as not to
damage the parts.

on, please contact our product technology

Running the pressure hose from the
spare tire to the 2-way valve
Running the pressure hose from the spare tire
to the 2-way valve.
The spare tire serves as reservoir for the com-
pressed air of the ATOMIZER-kit.
Fasten the pressure hose with the tire valve
connector to the valve of the spare tire and
run the pressure hose at the shortest distance
to the designated mounting position of the 2-
way valve (e.g. center console).
Fasten the 2-way valve with the hose clamps
included.
Cut the pressure hose to the required length
and secure in place at the "input" of the 2-way
valve. Make sure that the pressure hose is not
subject to tension when installing and that an
extra hose length of approximately 2 cm must
be taken into consideration for the removal of
the spare tire for refilling.
Use the included hose clamps to fasten the
pressure hose (compare with diagram).
Running the pressure hose from the
2-way valve to the windshield
washer tank (compare with diagram)
Fasten one end of the hose to the free connec-
tion (output) of the 2-way valve and lead it
through the vehicle interior into the engine
compartment. Please use the lead-in duct for
the electrical wiring (usually found in the vici-
nity of the fuse box / dashboard).
Cut the pressure hose after running it to the
immediate vicinity of the water tank for the
washer/wiper system and attach the Y-plug
connector according to the diagram.
Note:
Should your vehicle have a rear wiper/washer
system, you can use the existing hose pipe of
the rear washer:
If you no longer need the rear washer func-
tion, you can disconnect this hose line with the
corresponding hose length and render it ino-
perable.
If you do not want to do without the rear was-
her function (as is the case for vehicles without
rear wiper/washer system) then a suitable T-
connector must be installed in the wiper/was-
her line coming from the water tank pump.
Should the original hose have an exterior dia-
meter greater than 6 mm or an interior dia-
meter greater than 4 mm, then it is necessary
to install additional corresponding bushing
adaptors (hose wholesaler / automobile
accessories).
Now you can construct the required hose
connection from the wiper/washer tank to the
Y-connector already installed (see diagram).
Cut the pressure hose or, as the case may be,
the original wiper/washer hose line approxi-
mately 10 cm (4 inches) from the Y-connector
and install the back pressure valve included.
Take note of the correct flow direction (see
designation on back pressure valve) to avoid
compressed air flowing into the water tank
during operation of the ATOMIZER.
Use the included cable ties to fasten the hoses.
Make sure that the pressure hose is not subject
to tension when installing.
