• When using this electrical appliance, basic precautions should be followed to reduce the risk of
fire,electric shok,and injury to person,including the following:
• This heater must be used on an AC supply only and the voltage marked on the heater must cor-
respond to the supply voltage.
• Do not switch the appliance on until it properly installed as described in this manual.
• The heater must not be located immediately below a socket outlet.
• Keep furniture, curtains and other flammable material at least 1 metre away from the

• This appliance is intended for household use and should not be used for industrial

• The only user replacement parts are the bulbs. There are no other user replacement
• parts. All other servicing should be referred to a qualified engineer.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced

Unpack the heater carefully and retain the packaging for possible future use.
A choice of 1kW or 2kW heat output is provided by the heater, which is located at the bottom of the
heater.
Before connecting the heater check that the supply voltage is the same as that stated on the heater.
Note: Used in an environment where background noise is very low, it may be possible to hear a sound
which is related to the operation of the flame effect. This is normal and should not be a cause for con-
cern.
WARNING :THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED
The heater controls are located behind the metal plate on the front of the heater. Four switches provide
a choice of heat settings.
