Installation

The relevant standards must be taken into account during the installation
(such as IEC/EN 60079-14). The regulations are not mainly determined
based on the installation instructions from the empty enclosure. Instead,
they are derived based on the components used in the enclosure and the
connection elements such as cable glands.
The built-in components must comply with the "increased safety" ignition
protection requirements (IEC/EN 60079-7). The installation must comply
with the requirements from RL 94/9/EC and the IECEx scheme and
their related standards (such as IEC/EN 60079). Other types of ignition
protection are not permitted.

Initial commissioning

An approval must be obtained for the fully assembled enclosure including
all built-in components. All regional rules and regulations from the country
where the installation and operation will take place must also be observed.

Usage

Consult with Weidmüller to determine the chemical resistance of the
enclosure before using it in a potentially corrosive atmosphere.
