Mounting plates and earth-continuity plates

The electrical potential of the mounting plate and the cable entries can be
connected through the earth-continuity plates (grounding plates) at the base
of the enclosure.
When using the ½ earth-continuity plates, you can establish a connection
to the mounting rail by using an earthing ring (refer to Cable Gland
Accessories).
(The installation instructions can be found in the Appendix.)
You can also use the continuous earthing bolt (M6/M10).
The holes in the enclosure must precisely match the holes
in the earth-continuity plates so that the IP protection is not
compromised.
