A) Grinding into Portafilter
– Choose the cradle size that fits your portafilter (either small 50 – 54 mm or
large 58 mm).
– Slide cradle onto the left and right rail next to the grind outlet.
– Insert portafilter into cradle.
– Use automatic or manual grinding function to start operation using the START/
CANCEL button on the control panel or Portafilter Switch below at the grind
outlet.
– Simply slide portafilter out of the cradle and cradle out of the grinder to
remove.
NOTES:
You can grind directly into your portafilter even if it does not fit into the cradles
supplied. Without the cradle attached, you can hold the portafilter beneath the
ground outlet and press the Portafilter Switch with your finger or the portafilter
itself.
It is normal for the correct amount of coffee to appear overfilled in your porta-
filter. Untamped coffee is three times the volume of tamped coffee.
