Accessing the user interface

Accessing the user interface via the host name
Enter the host name of the EM Meter in the address line of the brows-
er. The factory host name consists of the product name and the se-
rial number (for the password, see the type plate or supplementary
sheet).

Note
This function depends on the settings of the router and may
not be available in larger managed networks.
Accessing the web interface via the network environment under
Windows (Win7 and Win10)
f In Windows, go to File Explorer and click on "Network" f
or
press the Windows button to open the Start menu and click on
"Devices and Printers".
An icon with the name of the EM Meter (e.g. EM-METER-9433-000014)
should be visible.
f Click on the icon and your standard browser opens with the f
login page of the EM Meter.
Note
The target network must not be classified as a "public net-
work" in the PC, otherwise this function will be blocked by
Windows.
