Preventing damage to or destruction of the EM Meter
- Do not connect an ISDN cable to the EM Meter net-
work connection.
Damage to or destruction of the EM Meter due to over-
voltage on the network cable
If network cables are laid outdoors, overvoltage can occur
due to lightning strikes, for example.
- For outdoor installation, the network cable must be
protected by a suitable surge protector.
- Protect your solar PV system and inverter with a suita-
ble surge protector.
Damage to or destruction of the EM Meter due to incor-
rect use
- Do not operate the EM Meter outside the bounds of
the stipulated specification.
