3. Rinse out the fi lter plug thoroughly under running water.
4. Wipe down the motor unit and the cleaning attachment with a soft, damp cloth if nec-
essary and then dry it with a soft cloth.
5. Allow all parts to dry in the air before storing away the device.
6. You should store the device in a cool, dry place which is out of the reach of children
and animals.

Troubleshooting

If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the cus-
tomer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself!
Problem
The device works slowly
or does not work at all. /
The control lamp (9)
fl ashes red during use.
The battery is not
charging up. The control
lamp (9) fl ashes or does
not light up when the
device is connected to
the mains power.
The fuse in the electrical
distributor (fuse box) has
been triggered.
Streaks are left when
cleaning windows or
smooth surfaces.

Possible cause
The battery is empty.
The mains adapter is
not inserted in the plug
socket correctly or the
barrel connector is not
inserted in the connecting
socket (1) of the motor
unit (8) correctly.
The plug socket is de-
fective.
There is no mains volt-
age.
The number of devices in
the circuit is too high.
The scraper lip (7) is
dirty.
The scraper lip is worn.
The metering of the
cleaning agent is too
high.
The cleaning cloth is very
dirty.
Solution
Charge up the battery.
Correct the fi t.
Try another plug socket.
Check the fuse of the electri-
cal distributor (fuse box).
Reduce the number of
devices.
Clean the cleaning attach-
ment (4) with scraper lip.
Replace the cleaning
attachment.
Reduce the metering of the
cleaning agent.
Detach the cleaning cloth and
wash it under running water.
Then reattach it to the device
and carry on cleaning.
