WARNING – Danger of Fire!
■ Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable substances or poisonous
and explosive fumes.
■ Do not charge the device in the vicinity of highly fl ammable materials (curtains, tex-
tiles, etc.).
■ Do not cover the device during operation in order to prevent it from catching fi re. Do
not insert anything into the ventilation openings of the device and make sure that
these do not become clogged.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
■ Connect the mains adapter only to a properly installed plug socket whose mains
voltage corresponds to the data on the rating plate. The plug socket must also be
readily accessible after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly
be isolated.
■ Make sure that the mains cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and
does not come into contact with hot surfaces. Do not wrap the mains cable around
the mains adapter (danger of the cable breaking).
■ Remove the mains adapter from the plug socket if a fault occurs during charging or if
a thunderstorm is expected.
■ When you pull it out of the plug socket, always pull on the mains adapter and never
the mains cable! Never pull or carry the device by the mains cable.
■ The device should only be used if it has been fully and correctly assembled! The fi lter
plug and the water tank must be inserted and must not be damaged! If the dirt
were to get inside the device, this could damage the motor.
■ Protect the device from heat, naked fl ames, sub-zero temperatures and collisions.
The main unit should also be protected from persistent moisture and wet conditions.
■ Use only original spare parts from the manufacturer in order to guarantee that there
is no interference that may prevent the device from working and to avoid damage.
■ Do not place or lay any heavy objects on the connecting cable.
