Troubleshooting

If the device does not work properly, fi rst check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact
the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
The device does not work. No steam is emerging.
• Is the mains plug inserted in the socket correctly?
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
• Check the fuse of the mains connection.
• Is the device switched on? Move the On / Off switch (7) to the I position.
• The device is not yet ready to operate. The device needs to heat up for around
20 – 30 seconds before the steam can emerge.
• The water reservoir (9) is empty. Top up the water reservoir again (see "Filling the
Water Reservoir").
• Is the device scale-encrusted? Descale the water reservoir in the manner described
in "Cleaning and Care", in the "Care" section.

Disposal
