Sensor Exchange
The oxygen measuring cell has a life of app. 1 year. If adjustment
to a concentration of 20,9 vol% in clean air is no longer possible,
it must be exchanged.
The locking screws (Item 6) at the front and the back of the sensor
cap must be unscrewed so that the sensor cap can be taken off.
The sensor unit can be pulled from its socket.
Avoid all contacts with the sensor membrane.
The new sensor unit will be installed and the detector will be
mounted in the reverse sequence.
Now the detector has to be adjusted anew (please refer to
paragraph 5.0).
The sensor signal is changing during the first hours of operation.
A repetition of the adjustment on the following day is usually
essential. Alternatively the sensor can also be exchanged a day
before the adjustment is done.
