Connexion of Cables and Electrodes
The PierenPlus basic works with two channels which can also be set separately, in
"one-channel-use".

Firstly, connect each of the delivered cables with two electrodes. This is done for
each channel. Doesn't matter at which electrode you connect the red.

Plug the other end of the cable to one of the output slots on the upper side of
the device.

Now place the electrodes on your skin. You find suggestions in the chapter
"Suggestions for cable positioning" to find appropriate areas of application.
Usually, the electrodes are positioned directly above the aching area or in the
nearest vicinity.
The PierenPlus basic automatically recognizes if the electrodes are not having
proper skin contact. The device switches OFF automatically. However, always pay
attention not to switch ON the device before the electrodes are placed correctly!
Advice!
Clean your skin at the area of application from sweat, humidity or conta-
mination. Do not put on crèmes or balms before treatment.

Treatment

Firstly, choose what kind of therapy you wish to perform. For this please see the
instructions and suggestions of often used programmes in this manual.
Place the electrodes on the regarding area. If needed, let another person help you.
Switch ON the device PierenPlus basic with the ON/OFF button. A signal tone
appears, and the PierenPlus basic is in the "Ready" mode.
Choose the wished programme by pressing the P key as often as to reach the
programme of interest (P 1 – P 16).
Advice!
Every time you switch ON the device, the programme recently used will
appear, even if you replaced the batteries.
