4. Depending on the seal and pressure version, the screws are secured with toothed lock washers, or screws with an adhesive
coating are used. Screws with an adhesive coating may only be used once (i.e. they are not designed for reuse), as the
adhesive effect is active one time only. For the version with PN160 (screws with an adhesive coating), the screws can be
ordered as a spare part 52020758. For the version with PN420 (screws with a toothed lock washer), the screws including
the toothed lock washers can be ordered as a spare part 52020693.
5. Tighten the threaded joints in a diagonally opposite sequence. Comply with the torques and waiting times indicated in the
table below.
6. Secure the threaded joints with a locking compound.
2.3 Commissioning
1. Install the measuring device again at the measuring point.
2. Connect the measuring device.
3. Align the housing in the desired position and tighten the locking screw (Fig. 4).
Always tighten the locking screw to ensure optimum potential equalization between the process vessel and the ground potential
of the housing. This also favors the EMC immunity of the electronics.
2.4 Adjustment/calibration
Make the following settings as specified in the Operating Instructions:
1. Reset to factory setting, this deletes customer-specific calibration data.
2. Set or calibrate the measuring range.
3. Perform position adjustment.
