2. Replacement of the sensor
Following the replacement of the sensor, the technical properties of the measuring device are out of specification and the device
measures with slightly less accuracy. The specification indicated can only be achieved in the fabrication process, as it is not
possible to establish fabrication conditions, such as a regulated temperature, the set air pressure, identical humidity, etc. The error
factor is independent of the measuring range and is 3 mbar at the very maximum. To keep measured errors to a minimum, it is
important to strictly follow the individual steps.
Before replacing the sensor, separate the sensor assembly from the housing, see the section entitled "Replacement of a
sensor with a process connection".

2.2 Assembly
Carefully clean both seals and flange interiors so they are free from dust and grease. The parts must not be damaged
(scratches, dents).

1. Insert the seal.
2. Remove the protection caps, do not touch the sensor diaphragm! Any sensor orientation is possible. The markings for the
LP and HP pressure sides are located on both sides of the sensor.
3. Carefully attach the counterflange, making sure that the interior seal does not slip out of position. Press the flanges firmly
onto the sensor ensuring they are parallel (e.g. using a clamp or vise).
