Problem
Burner starts up, but
goes in fault mode
Burner starts up, but
does not ignite; goes
into fault mode
Potential cause
Automatic gas stocker displays
fault (fault indicator lamp lights
up).
The safety temperature limiter
has interrupted the power, the
outlet temperature is too high;
air inlet or air outlet is
constricted or the device cannot
recool: The unit was switched
off by pulling out the plug, and
not by switching off.
No gas.
Main cock closed.
The gas pressure is low or gas
pipe is leaking (gas pressure
controller is tripped).
No ignition spark. Ignition
electrode coked or misadjusted.
Burner nozzle is clogged.

Solution
Unscrew the cover sheet of the
switch cabinet. After a waiting time
of about 1 minute, press the fault
clear button lit on the control unit of
the burner. The fault indicator on
the control unit and the signal must
go off. The burner will then attempt
a new start-up.
During first operation, it may
happen that the fault clear button
has to be pressed until the gas
pushes up to the burner.
Check gas pressure, only then
heating operation is possible.

the enclosed burner operating
manual.
Turn the black protective cap to
the left and remove. Press fault
clear button of the STB. This is
located above the device cable
lead-in. Remove the cause of the
overheating (suction or exhaust
resistance).
Check gas pressure.
Check pipe and/or main cock.
Adjust the pressure correctly;
replace coupling or pump (to be
carried out by an expert only).
Press fault clear button on the
control unit (see chapter titled
"Burner does not start up").
Check the nozzle holder, to be on
the safe side. Pull out the plug or
switch off power and check the
nozzle holder.
Unscrew the burner nozzle.
Replace the nozzle. Do not
attempt to clean the nozzle.
Always renew the nozzle; opened
and cleaned nozzles never burn
flawlessly.
