2. The camera axis should be parallel to the surface of the road
surface
3. Before drilling the holes in vehicle's body, make sure to select
location in which you will not damage any electrical cables,
brake system, fuel tank etc.
4. Before drilling a hole, determine the best way to run the
cables through the vehicle. Ensure the cables does not
interfere any safety equipment nor reduce safety of the
vehicle.
DOUBLE CHECK BEFORE YOU DRILL! Look out for cables,
sensors, lines, anything that could get damaged.
5. After drilling, remove any burs or sharp edges so you do not
damage the cable when pulling it through.
6. Carefully route the camera's cables through the hole.
7. Connect the red cable (2) protected with a fuse to power (+12
V) eg. reverse light. Make a permanent connection using a
crimp connector or by soldering etc.
8. Connect the camera's cable to the rearview mirror (3) with
AV cable (4).
9. Adjust the lens and keep the lens parallel with the ground.
10. Turn on the vehicle's engine and switch on reverse gear.
