Reading the EDID from a HDBaseT display device:
The EDID of a display device connected to the last Quickselect's HDBaseT Link Out must be read using
the free configuration software in 4 steps:
1. Select EDID Mode „User" and click on the LAST Quickselect modul in the GUI to mark it with
a red frame.
2. Set the upper pulldown menu to „Link Out" and click on „Read"
3. In the „Write the EDID" section click on „All Units"
4. Select „All" in the lower pulldown menu und click on „All Units"
This procedure reads the EDID from the display device via HDBaseT Link Out, then writes the EDID to the
"User" memory of each devices' HDMI1 and HDMI2 ports. Finally the "User" memory is set as the "active"
memory to be used.
3. In EDID mode ‚User', you can load customized EDID tables and
write to the respective HDMI inputs:
In the upper pulldown menu, you can read out the respective EDID
table of the connected output device or the tables filed in the inputs
Note: This in turn can be saved locally as a file. Under Open, you can
load a customized table that will be filed in the memory for ‚user-
specific EDID' under ‚Write EDID'. To activate this table, the EDID mode
of the respective QuickSelect 3.0 must be set to User. In the pulldown
menu, you can choose if the user EDID memory is to be activated for
the input HDMI1, HDMI2 or for both. On the left, for all devices that
were found under ‚Auto search'; on the right only for the selected
device (framed red).
Note: The EDID information of the VGA input cannot be changed!
