6 Volt mode

Special programme for 6V batteries, recommended for 1.2 Ah to 14 Ah. The charging current here is a maximum of 0.8A.

Motorbike mode

Particularly suitable to 12V batteries from 1.2 Ah to 14 Ah. Gentle charging thanks to low charging current. The charging current here is a maximum of 0.8A.

Car mode

Designed for ordinary 12V car batteries from 14 Ah to 120 Ah. Efficient charging thanks to increased charging current of up to 3.8A.

Winter mode

Special charging programme for 12V batteries of 14 Ah to 120 Ah for low temperatures under 0°C. Effective charge by increased charging voltage and high

charging current. Shown by the use of the snowflake symbol.

Battery maintenance charge mode

As soon as the battery is fully charged, the charger switches automatically over to battery maintenance charge mode. This is indicated in the display by the use of

the full battery symbol.

Reactivation charge mode

If a battery measures a voltage between 7.3 and 10.5 Volt, this is critical since a voltage at the lower end does not clearly show whether it is a fully charged 6 V

battery (here the voltage may be 7.3 V) or a deep-discharged 12 V battery. If you attempt to start a charging process, a pause of 1.5 minutes is started, after which

another control measurement is taken.

If the measured voltage after the 1.5 minutes lies between 7.5 and 10.5 Volt, the battery is recognised as being a 12 V battery and the charging process starts with

a gentle impulse charge in motorbike mode to reactivate the battery.

Removing the charger

Caution: First pull the plug out of the socket and observe the sequence for disconnection. This prevents sparks from forming. Since charging generates

a detonating gas, this is particularly important for the sake of your safety.

Disconnect the charger from the mains power supply.

Then disconnect the black clamp (minus). Then remove the battery clamp from the plus pole of the battery (red clamp).

Allow the battery to cool and fill the cells with distilled water to the filling level named by the battery manufacturer. Close the battery cells using the caps.

Care and maintenance

Maintenance: If used correctly, the device is maintenance-free.

Care: Clean the device carefully with a dry cloth. Do not use liquids or chemical cleaning agents. Never submerge the device in liquids. Never allow liquid to flow

over the device.

Notes for environmental protection

The packaging is made up of environmentally friendly materials which may be disposed of via your local recycling points.

Do not put electrical devices into the household waste. Electronic and electrical devices must be collected separately and sent for environmentally

friendly recycling. Contact your community or town administration for information regarding the disposal of electrics.
