5. Self-timer

Set the duration of the delay (time) from when you have pressed [
is released.

5.1 Setting

Press [ ] repeatedly to advance to DELAY.
1. Press [ SET ] to enter the self-timer setting.
2. The hour digits will flash.
3. Press [ ] upwards/downwards to the desired
setting:
4. Press [ ] to confirm your setting and go to
the minutes setting.
5. The minutes digits will flash. Press [ ] upwards/
downwards to the desired setting.
6. Press [ ] to confirm your setting and go to
the seconds setting.
7. The seconds digits will flash. Press [ ] upwards/
downwards to the desired setting:
8. Complete the setting by pressing [ SET ] to confirm.

5.2 Sound

Press [ ] repeatedly to advance to . Press [ SET ].
• Press [ ] upwards/downwards until the desired setting has been reached
or to activate or deactivate the speaker during the countdown.
• Press [ SET ] to confirm.
5.3 Starting the countdown
Press [ ] to start the countdown to shutter release. Press the button again to
interupt the countdown before shutter release.
Note: If the camera is used in auto mode, the viewfinder should be covered to prevent
exposure error.

6. Long exposures

6.1 Setting
Set your camera to Bulb Mode (or its equivalent)
1. Press [ ] repeatedly to advance to LONG.
2. Set the time in the same way as you did in 4.1 Settings.
