10. Manual remote shutter release operation

The remote shutter release can be used to activate the camera manually in the same
way as a remote control. This function can be used regardless of the remote shutter
release settings. This function does not require battery power and can therefore be
used even when the battery is flat.
1. Pressing the release button halfway
in activates the autofocus and
sets the viewfinder and shutter
speed (in autofocus mode).
2. Pressing the button all the way in
takes a picture.

11. Care and maintenance

Clean the product using a soft, moist cloth. Only use mild detergents; never use solvents
or strong, abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning as these can damage the product.
Note: The remote shutter release is not waterproof.
