8. Example

8.1 Situation

• 5 exposures.
• Exposure time: 5 seconds.
• Interval between exposures: 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

8.2 Preparations

1. Place the camera on a stand or tripod.
2. Set the camera to manual focus mode. Focus the camera (refer to the user manual
of the camera).

8.3 Settings

1. Press [ ] repeatedly to advance to LONG (long exposure).
2. Press [ SET ] to enter the settings mode.
3. Press [ ] twice to advance past hours and minutes.
The seconds will flash, set to 5 seconds by pressing [ ]
upwards 5 times.
4. Press [ SET ] to confirm the set exposure time.
5. Press [ ] 1 time to advance to INTVL (interval).
6. Press [ SET ] to enter the settings mode.
7. Press [ ] once to advance past the hours to the minutes
(the minutes display flashes). Set to 2 minutes by pressing [ ]
upwards 2 times.
8. Press [ ] 1 time. The seconds will start to flash, set to 30 seconds
by pressing [ ] upwards 30 times (or hold it down to advance
quicker).
9. Press [ SET ] to confirm the set interval time between exposures.
10. Press [ ] 1 time to advance to N (exposure count).
11. Press [ SET ] to enter the settings mode.
12. Press [ ] upwards 5 times to set the exposure count to 5.
13. Press [ SET ] to confirm the set exposure count. The note
symbol will appear on the display to indicate that the speaker
is activated.
8.4 Starting the set timer function
1. Press [ ] to start the timer once it has been set.
2. The camera will take a picture immediately. "TIMER ACTIVE"
flashes on the display whilst the timer is counting down.
3. The display shows information about the status of the timer
fumction. The display shows: 2 minutes and 15 seconds
remain until the next exposure, 4 exposures remain and
the speaker is activated.
4. Press [ ], start the set timer again or enter the settings and
reset all the settings to 0.
