Diagnostics and troubleshooting

6.1 Service and diagnostics in display
In the main menu of the AMS 3xxi, expanded "Diagnostics" can be called up under the
Service heading.

From the Service main menu, press the enter button
Use the up/down buttons

Return from any sublevel to the next-higher menu item by pressing the ESC button
6.1.1 Status messages and expanded diagnostics
Status messages and expanded diagnostics are used for internal evaluation at Leuze
electronic.
6.1.2 Diagnostics
The diagnostics function is activated by selecting the Diagnostics menu item. The ESC
button deactivates the diagnostics function and clears the contents of the recordings.

The recorded diagnostic data are displayed in 2 fields. In the upper half of the display, status
messages of the AMS and the bar graph are displayed. The lower half contains information
that assists in a Leuze-internal evaluation.

The diagnostics have no influence on the communication to the host interface and can be
activated during operation of the AMS 3xxi.
