Wind causes movements of the drop profile. The sensor recognizes the amplitude and

the frequency of the movement. At the commeo Wind Sensor the wind sensitivity is set

by a step switch. If the set wind sensitivity is exceeded, the awning will be retracted.

After a blocking time of approximately 15 minutes (in this time the sensor must not

move!) the awning can be extended again. Therefore move the awning only when there

is no wind. Regularly check the function of the sensor by moving the drop profile.

Change the batteries every year, preferably in spring.

Empty batteries or an excessive distance between the commeo Wind Sensor and the

motor lead to an interruption of the radio connection. If the radio connection is inter-

rupted for at least 15 minutes, the awning retracts automatically. By pressing the

DOWN button the awning is extended for only 3 seconds. After that the awning will be

retracted automatically. Once the radio connection is established again, the awning

can be extended completely.

Caution! The wind inspection is not active when the radio connection is

interrupted.

Immediately replace empty batteries!
