Retrieval of the spirals from the pipe
Use one hand to draw the rotating spirals out of the pipe until a slight arc is formed. The hand-
lever (2a), should be released and the motionless spirals then pushed back into the machine.
The hand-lever (2b) should then be used to clamp and rotate the spirals again. These sequences
should be repeated until all the sections of spiral have been removed from the pipe.

Tool changing
The most efficient tool for the particular type of blockage should be selected.
Tool-changing is performed as follows:
- the tool attachment key supplied with the machine should be inserted into the side boring of
the coupling on the spirals
- the locking bolt of the 2nd half-coupling should be lifted
- the coupling should be removed to the side out of the milled recess
- the tool selected should be mounted from the side on the coupling

Working with leverage unit and rods
For working with the leverage unit, at first assemble the rod adapter (5) as follows:
- unscrew nut of the rod adapter
- slide rod adapter into the working spindle
- screw on the nut, until axial tolerance 1mm is achieved
- fix the nut with set screws
(disassembly in reverse order)
Couple the leverage tool on the rod, 1,5m long.
Regulate the quantity of rods as necessary.
Connect the last rod with the rod adapter.
Important! Put on safety gloves for operating with the leverage.
Leverage with rods should now be inserted into the pipe to be cleaned.
Start up the motor in idling speed of the reverse gear (1a).
Switch on the reverse gear (1b) to clockwise rotation during running motor in idling cycle. By
pulling the hand-lever (2b), the coupling system will be activated. By further pulling, the rod
adapter with the coupled leverage and tool will be getting into rotation.
Slide the whole unit regulated towards the blockage in the pipe and repeat it until the
blockage has been eliminated.
