8.2 Connecting the inverter to the battery
Warning
Do not reverse the polarity. Reversing the polarity of the battery
connections will cause a great spark and the fuses will melt.
The fuses should only be replaced by an electrician.
Warning
Make sure that neither the battery nor any consumer units are
connected to the inverter while you are connecting it.
Note
Tighten the nuts and bolts to a torque of 12 – 13 Nm. Loose con-
nections may cause overheating.
➤ Set the main switch (6 2, page 4) to "Off".
