5 Connecting and Aligning the Camera
1) Connect the yellow BNC inline jack (9) via a screened cable to the
video input of a monitor. With a cable length of more than 100 m a
video amplifier should be inserted between camera and cable to
compensate the level loss by the cable.
2) Connect a regulated 12 V power supply unit with a permanent rating
of 130 mA as a minimum to the red inline jack (10). For connection
a low voltage plug with the dimensions 5.5 / 2.1 mm (outside/inside
diameter) is required. Pay attention to the correct polarity: Apply the
positive pole to the inside contact of the plug.
3) Switch on the monitor and align the camera to the surveillance area
in an optimum way by readjusting its bracket: the camera can be
turned via the rotary arm (6), it can be panned to the right and left
via the panning frame (5) and tilted upwards or downwards via the
tilting device (4). Make sure that the cable connections are not
stretched or torn off.
4) With the zoom adjusting ring (7) adjust the picture cutout and adjust
a clear picture with the ring for adjusting the distance (8). The re-
spective adjusting lever is a fixing screw at the same time and has
to be released before and retightened after the adjustment.
6 Settings in the on-screen menu
The on-screen menu is operated with the five buttons on the PCB. To
call the on-screen menu, press the button SET
