Use in line with the specification:

The tool is intended exclusively for use with the RAUTITAN PX compres-
sion sleeve system in the combination PX/PX, PX/MX, PX/SX or PX/RX in
sizes 16 and 20 mm (see Fig. 1). Do not use the tool for other systems,
combinations or dimensions.
Read all of the safety information and assembly instructions before
using the tool.
Observe this information when operating the tool and always keep the
safety information with the tool.
In addition to the operating instructions, generally applicable legal and
other binding regulations relating to industrial safety and the prevention
of accidents are to be observed and the relevant instruction provided.

General safety information:

1 . Keep your workplace tidy and free of obstructions . Make sure there is
sufficient light.
2 . Keep children, pets and unauthorised persons out of the area you are
working in .
3 . Wear suitable work clothing. Do not wear any loose-fitting clothing or
jewellery . They may get caught in moving parts . Wear a hairnet if you have
long hair . Use goggles .
4 . Do not touch moving parts (risk of trapping fingers!).
5 . Be alert . Only use the tool if you have received instruction in using it .
6 . Keep your tools in a safe place . When not in use, tools should be kept in a
dry, closed room out of reach of children .
7 . Check the tool and accessories for any defects (e .g . cracks, bent jaw
retainers or visible abrasion) before use . Check that the moving parts
are functioning properly and that they are not jamming and parts are not
damaged. All parts must be assembled correctly and fulfil all of the condi-
tions to ensure smooth operation .
8 . Only use the tool with original REHAU parts and accessories .
9 . Maintenance and repair work should only be carried out in a REHAU
authorised service centre . We will not accept any liability for any work
performed by unauthorised persons . The addresses of authorised service
centres can be obtained from your REHAU sales office.

REHAU does not accept any liability for damage or injuries that are
due to unsafe use of the product, inadequate maintenance or incorrect
product and system application.

Using the tool at temperatures below -10 °C and above 45 °C can
damage the pipe joint components, the tool and/or result in personal
injury!
- Do not use the tool at temperatures below -10 °C.
- In the case of low temperatures (below 0 °C) it is recommended that
the jointing components are stored temporarily in a warmer environ-
ment prior to processing.
