– To lock into position, hold down the
locking button and release the switch.
– To switch off, briefly press and release
the switch.
Switch on and off (S 203 KVE)
Brief operation without engaged switch
rocker:
n Slide the switch forwards and hold
in position.
n To switch off, release the switch.
Continuous operation with engaged
switch rocker:
Caution!
Following a power failure, the switched-on
machine will start running again.
– Slide the switch forwards and lock into
position by pressing it at the front.

Pendulum-stroke jigsaw S 203
– To switch off the jigsaw, release the
switch by pressing it at the back.
Attaching or changing the
saw blade
1. Pull out the mains plug.
2. Remove the dust cover to the front.
3. Lift the clamping ring and hold in
position.
4. Insert the saw blade into the guide and
press up all the way without twisting it.
5. Release clamping ring.
6. Attach the dust cover.
7. Insert the mains plug into the socket.
8. Switch on the jigsaw (without locking the
switch into position) and leave running
for approx. 30 seconds. Check for quiet
running.
