Adjusting the tension of the saw
band
n Rotate the adjusting wheel (3) in
a clockwise direction until it engages.
Caution!
If the tension is too high, the saw band has
a tendency to run out of the guides.
Reduce the tension by rotating the adjusting
wheel (3) in an anti-clockwise direction.
Adjusting the saw band guide
Caution!
Adjust the saw band guide according to the
dimensions of the workpiece which is to be
cut. This provides:
– an increased protective effect,
– the saw band with protection from
overloading,
– an improved cutting quality.

n Loosen the clamping lever (4) and
feed the saw band guide (5) as far as
possible along the workpiece.
n Tighten the clamping lever (4).
Changing the cutting angle
The cutting angle can be adjusted
steplessly from 0° to 45° (end stop).
n Loosen the clamping lever (10) and set
the swivel support (12) to the required
cutting angle.
Use the scaling on the machine table as
an adjustment aid.
n Retighten the clamping lever.
