Integrated field strength detector
Each Free-control wireless adapter has an
internal field strength detector
This can be seen on the front of the wireless
adapter. With this, the radio link between the
wireless transmitter and the wireless adapter
can be evaluated during installation, mean-
ing the quality of the received transmission
signal at the wireless adapter.
As soon as a radio transmission signal is re-
ceived by the wireless adapter, the LED
blinks between 1 and 4 times.
The LED of the field strength detector
blinks in programming mode as well as in
operating mode.
LED blinks 0x = no reception.
LED blinks 1x = bad reception.
• Recommendation: Be sure to change the
placement of the radio transmitter and/
or wireless adapter to acquire a better
radio signal.
