4.1

Warning Signs

Meanings of warning signs on AP belt bag with connecting
cable:
Observe safety notices and take the necessary
precautions.
Read, understand and save the instruction
manual.
Protect battery from heat and fire.
Do not immerse battery in fluids.
Observe battery's specified temperature range.
4.2

Intended Use

The AP belt bag with connecting cable connects a STIHL AP
battery to a STIHL cordless product with socket or an AP
adapter.
The AP belt bag with connecting cable can be damaged.
The battery may be used in the rain.
The STIHL AP battery supplies power to the STIHL cordless
product.

The AP belt bag with connecting cable may be used only for
work performed while standing on the ground.
The AP belt bag with connecting cable must not be used for
cordless lawn mowers.
The AP belt bag with connecting cable may be carried only
on a belt that the user can open and throw off with one hand.
STIHL recommends that the AP belt bag with connecting
cable be carried on the STIHL battery belt or in the STIHL
backpack carrying system.
WARNING
￭ Using the AP belt bag with connecting cable or the battery
for purposes for which they were not designed may result
in serious or fatal injuries and damage to property.
► Use the AP belt bag with connecting cable and battery
as described in this instruction manual.
► Do not recharge the battery while it is in the AP belt bag

￭ Users without adequate instruction cannot recognize or
assess the risks involved in using the AP belt bag with
connecting cable and the battery. The user or other
persons may sustain serious or fatal injuries.

battery on to another user: Always give them the
instruction manual.
