If you want to operate the DVD-Player with a child lock system, you must
fi rst enter a password. This password safeguards the settings for the child
lock system, so that it can only be changed by yourself.
Password Mode
On: A password has to be entered whenever an attempt is made to
modify the child lock function.
Off : The child lock system can be changed without a password being
required.
Password
In this menu you can change the password for the child lock system.
In order to change the password, you must fi rst enter the current pass-
word. The master password is „136900".
NOTE:
If you forgot your password, you can deactivate the child lock system
with this password.
Proceed as follows to change the password:
1. Enter the present password in the „Old Password" line with the Nu-
merical buttons (Fig. 3/20) of the remote control.
To prevent the password from being read by unauthorized persons
only the characters "XXXX X" will appear on the screen.
2. Enter the new password in the „New Password" line with the Numeri-
cal buttons of the remote control.
3. Confi rm the new password by entering it again in the „Confi rm" line.
Confi rm your entry with the ENTER button (Fig. 3/27).

Radio Station Set-up

This device has a built-in FM/AM radio receiver. There are 2 diff erent ways
to search for radio stations: automatic station fi nding and manual station
fi nding.
Automatic Station Finding
1. Use the SOURCE SELECT (Fig. 3/31) button to select the "TUNER"
mode.
2. Select with the FM/AM button (Fig. 3/8) the desired frequency band.
3. Press the AUTO/SUBTITLE (Fig. 3/26) button. The device searches the
current frequency band for stations and stores them automatically.
NOTE: It is not possible to change the order of the stations.
