TurnSheet is placed and bedded in the bed in the order described above.
The mattress cover is secured around the mattress with Velcro strips.
The turning cover is placed on top, with the sliding surfaces facing each other.

Pull the patient to one side of the bed. Smooth out the
sheet and turning cover. Pull on the sheet and turn the
patient to the desired position.
Tuck the sheet under both sides of the mattress and raise
the bed rails.
The TurnSheets suspension loop is hooked above the slingbar
on a mobile or overhead lift.
If bed rails are not used, a caregiver should stand beside the
bed to ensure safety.
Start turn by raising the slingbar. The caregiver with the best
view of the patient operates the lift.
Turn the patient to the desired position.
To ensure that the patient is repositioned in the centre of the
bed, some manual adjustment towards the centre of the bed
may be necessary during turning.
When the patient has been turned to the desired position, the
Velcro strip can be loosened behind the patient.
Since the TurnSheet now supports the patient's back, the
caregiver is free to attend to the patient's hygiene.
