Cleaning
Clean the outside of the device with a soft, damp cloth.
Wash the removable components with warm water, a food safe neutral detergent and a
non-abrasive sponge. Rinse and dry them thoroughly.
Re-assemble the components to the device.
Placing
Place the device on a plane, clean, food safe and heat-resistant working surface close
to a power outlet.
The device comes with an emergency cool down function when the device becomes too
hot during operation. Make sure to keep the emergency steam release opening on the
front of the device free of obstacles.
Place the device far away from heat sources, such as stovetops, open fire and direct
sunlight, to ensure proper functioning of the device and to prevent the body of the
device from deformation by heat.

Power Supply

This device uses a grounded power supply of 220-240 V ~ 50/60 Hz.
Make sure that the power outlet is compliant with the device's specifications, grounded
and was installed by a certified electrician.
Also make sure that the power cord does not come into contact with hot surfaces and
heat sources.
Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of the work surface to prevent the device
from being accidentally torn off.
To disconnect the device from power supply, turn off the device and pull the cord by its
plug out of the power outlet.
Disconnect the power cord before cleaning the device and when not in use.
Cleaning the Tanks Before First Use
Always make sure to turn OFF the device and disconnect it from the power outlet before
attaching or removing components of the device.
ATTENTION: For the first cleaning of the device use water, only. Do not use coffee
powder, tea powder or milk to ensure proper cleaning.
1 Remove the milk tank as described in REMOVING THE MILK TANK and fill it with
water. Make sure that the quantity filled in is between the marks MIN and MAX in
the milk tank.
2 Place the milk tank into the device and make sure you have it inserted correctly.
ATTENTION: The device will beep once to indicate when the milk tank is not
positioned correctly. Reposition it. Make sure that you placed the magnetic
cover on the frothing chamber, too.
