Quick Start Guide
PremAire Mask-Hood
The quick start guide does not replace the operating
manual. It is imperative that the operating manual be read
and observed when using the device. In particular, the
safety instructions, as well as the information for the use
and operation of the device, must be carefully read and
observed.
The operating manual can also be provided as a hard copy
upon request.

The Mask-Hood consists of a full-face mask with a connection
for the lung governed demand valve, a hood and a harness.
Inhaled air flows from the connector past the inhalation valve to
the inside of the lens and then through the check valves into the
nose cup. Exhaled air from the exhalation valve flushes the
hood before streaming out of the neck opening to the ambient
atmosphere, providing a slight positive pressure inside the
hood.
