CAUTION: Be sure to unplug this appliance before cleaning. To protect against electrical shock, do not
immerse cord, plug or unit in water or liquid. After each use, always make sure plug is first removed
from wall outlet.
1. Wipe the outside with soft dry cloth after the appliance cools down, never use metal polish.
2. Pull out crumb tray on bottom of toaster and empty it. If toaster is used frequently, accumulated
bread crumbs should remove at least once a week. Make sure the crumb tray is completely closed
before using the toaster again.
3. Clean the funnel and carafe after each use in hot, sudsy water.
4. Water droplets may buildup in the area above the Filter and drip onto the coffee maker base
during brewing. To control the dripping, wipe off the area with a clean, dry cloth after each use of
the product.
5. Use a damp cloth to gently wipe the keeping warm plate. Never use abrasive cleaner to clean it.
6. Wipe the appearance of kettle housing with a wild and damp cloth or cleaner, never use a poiso-
nous cleaner.
CAUTION: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle.
7. When not use or storage, the power cord may be wound under the bottom of toaster.
Removal of mineral deposits (For the kettle)
Mineral deposits in tap water may cause the kettle interior to discolor .To remove this build-up, use Liquid
Descaler, a simple to use, non-toxic cleaner.
1. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar and the remainder with water and be allowed to stand
overnight. Do not boil
2. Empty the solution from the kettle .Any stains remaining inside the spout can be removed by
rubbing with a damp cloths, Fill the kettle with clean water, bring to boil and then discard the
water. Repeat and the kettle will then be ready to use.
The outside of the kettle can be wiped over with a damp cloth.
Removal of mineral deposits (For the coffee maker)
To keep your coffee maker operating efficiently, you should clean away the mineral deposits left by the
water regularly according to the water quality in your area and the frequency use the appliance, the
detail is as follows:
1. Fill the tank with water and descaler to the MAX level in the gauge of coffee maker (the scale of
water and descaler is 4:1; the detail refers to the instruction of descaler. Please use "household
descaler"; you can use the citric acid instead of the descaler (the one hundred parts of water and
three parts of citric acid).
2. Push drip carafe on keeping warm plate, pay attention to let center line of carafe aligns with that
of brew basket.
3. Turn on the switch and the indicator on it will be illuminated. After a while, water will drop out
automatically.
4. After percolate the equivalent of one cup and then switch off the appliance.
5. Leave the solution work for 15 minutes; repeat the steps of 3-5 again.
6. Turn the appliance on and run off the water until the water tank is completely empty.
7. Rinse by operating the appliance with water at least 3 times.
