TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

PROBLEM
1. Unit does not start
2. Battery will not hold a charge
or will not charge at all
3. Low vacuum

PROVIDER'S NOTES

No routine calibration or service is required provided the device is used in accordance with the manufacturer's
directions. In case of a change of patient, the device must be reconditioned to protect the user. Reconditioning must
only be carried out by the manufacturer or service provider. Between patients:
1. Visually inspect unit for any damage, missing parts etc.
2. Ensure that unit and accessories are clean.
3. Use an independent vacuum gauge to verify the unit provides the proper vacuum level as stated in the
specifications.
4. Discard and replace collection container, filter, and tubing between patients.
5. Wipe the surface using a clean cloth dampened with disinfectant.
CAUSE
No power at receptacle
Power cord is loose or not connected
Defective AC to DC adapter
Battery is not charged
Defective PC board or on/off switch
Compressor is defective
Battery is defective
PC board is defective
Defective AC to DC adapter
Vacuum level is not adjusted
Leak in system
Defective cup seal on piston
Defective umbrella valve in piston
cylinder
Weak compressor

SOLUTION
Use other receptacle
Connect power cord
Replace adapter
Charge battery
Replace PC board
Replace compressor
Replace battery
Replace PC board
Replace adapter
Use vacuum regulator knob to adjust
vacuum
Check hoses and collection container
Replace cup seal
Replace piston cylinder
Replace compressor
