INDICATIONS FOR USE The DeVilbiss PD1000 Compact Conserving Device is intended as a delivery device for medical-grade oxygen from high-pressure oxygen cylinders. This is an ambulatory device, which allows patients to ambulate longer than they would with a continuous flow regulator on the same cylinder. -

Because PulseDose responds to each individual’s breathing patterns, the use time will vary for each individual depending on the PulseDose prescription rate and the breath rate. The following chart shows the theoretical ambulatory ranges for DeVilbiss PulseDose products. Dies stellt sicher, dass der verabreichte Sauerstoff tief in die Lunge gelangt, um eine maximale Wirkung zu erzielen. PulseDose benötigt im Vergleich mit einer Verabreichung unter kontinuierlichem Fluss sehr viel weniger Sauerstoff, um denselben therapeutischen Nutzen zu erzielen.

WAARSCHUWING Voorkom ongevallen door omvallende zuurstofflessen door canuleslangen van maximaal 3,5m te gebruiken bij kleine zuurstofflessen. Zet flessen die onbewaakt achterblijven vast in een flessenhouder. OPMERKING– Gebruik geen masker in de PulseDose-modus omdat dit mogelijk niet goed genoeg past, waardoor het zuurstofbesparingsapparaat niet in staat is te detecteren wanneer de patiënt inademt. Ook zou het therapeutische effect van het PulseDose-apparaat teniet worden gedaan omdat de zuurstofconcentratie lager zou worden in het masker voordat de patiënt inademt. -
