■ Adjusting the Tone Control

The CAS 100 has been optimized at the factory so that for most media and voices the Bass, Mid and Treble controls
should be set at their centre detent position. Turning up the Mid control and turning down the bass control can
make voices easier to understand. Turning up the Treble control can make the speaker sound brighter in a big room
or outdoors.

■ Recording a Speech or Presentation

The Line Out connection may be attached to an external recording device. The audio signal at this output is a mix of
the microphone and music player inputs. The level is not affected by the Master Volume control.
