Safety information
This quality light was built according to the latest
technological standards. The light was built, tested
and delivered in proper condition. To maintain this
condition and to ensure safe operation, the user must
follow the instructions and warnings of the operating
instructions.
If it is to assume that safe operation is no longer
possible, the lamp must be taken out of service.
It is to assume that a safe operation is
not possible
•
if the illuminant shows visible damage
•
if the illuminant is no longer working
properly
•
after prolonged storage under
inconvenient conditions
•
after extreme transport damage
In these cases, the luminaire must be sent in for
repair.
Repairs to the luminaire must be carried out only by
the manufacturer, his customer service department
or a qualified electrician. A qualified electrician has
the professional training, knowledge and experience,
as well as knowledge of the pertinent standards, to
assess the work they are required to carry out and re-
cognize possible hazards. Warranty repairs are carried
out only by the manufacturer.
Safety information (luminaires with
battery)
•
Do not operate the luminaire in high ambi-
ent temperatures (over 50°C).
•
Avoid direct solar radiation.
This may lead to damaging of the bat-
tery and fire!
In the case of fire: Never extinguish
with water. Quench flames, for example
with sand.
•
The battery may be used exclusively
with the provided charger.
There is the possibility of overheating,
additionally with risk of fire and/or ex-
plosion, as well as the danger of leaking
of hazardous fluids.
•
Protect the luminaire from heavy shocks,
high weight load and other harmful
impacts that may lead to damaging of the
battery.
•
Do not charge the battery in extreme high
and low temperatures. The recommended
ambient temperature is between 10-30°C.
•
When used in low temperatures, losses in
the battery capacity may occur.
•
When stored for too long, the battery may
be damaged. Never store the luminaire in
a deep discharged state.
•
For storing it for several months, the re-
commended state of charge is about 60%.
•
For transportation (especially air cargo),
the valid national / international trans-
port regulations are to be respected.

at the workplace.
Commissioning
The luminaire is only to be connected to alternating
current (AC) – with voltage according to type plate
– to a properly installed protective contact socket.
Please note that your installation meets the relevant
VDE guidelines.

), the voltage according to

WARNING! Tripping hazard!
Lay the cables in a way that no trip hazards occur
and that they are safe from mechanical damages
like tearing off or running over. If necessary, fix the
cables with adhesive tape or cable ties.
