3. Überwachung der Laufwerksfunktionen
Wenn eines der nachfolgend beschriebenen Signale nicht vorliegt,
versucht das Gerät den Cassettenschacht in die Stellung "EJECT" zu
bringen.
3.1 Ein - und Ausfädeldauer
Als Referenz für die Ein - und Ausfädeldauer wird das Signal vom
Fädeltachogeber (FTA) genommen, der die Umdrehungen des Fädel-
motors überwacht.
3.2 Stillstand des linken bzw. rechten Wickeltellers
Für diese Überwachung werden die Tachoimpulse vom linken (WTL)
und rechten (WTR) Wickelteller ausgewertet.
3.3 Stillstand des Kopfscheibenmotors
Zur Überwachung des Kopfscheibenmotors wird das PG/FG-Signal
verwendet. Dieses wird aus der EMK der nicht stromdurchflossenen
Spulen des Kopfscheibenmotors abgeleitet und gibt die Position der
Kopfscheibe an.
3.4 Capstanmotorfehler
Für diese Überwachung wird das Capstantacho-Signal (FG) verwen-
det.
3.5 Fehlercodes und Fehlerstatus
Der zuletzt aufgetretene Fehlercode wird im EEPROM abgespeichert
und bleibt auch dann erhalten, wenn das Gerät vom Netz getrennt wird.
Löschen kann man diesen Fehlercode durch Drücken der Taste
"CLEAR" auf dem Fernbediengeber im Servicemode.

3. Monitoring the Tape Deck Functions
If one of the signals described in the following is missing, the recorder
tries to move the cassette compartment to the "EJECT" position.
3.1 Threading-in and Threading-out Duration
The signal from the threading tacho generator (FTA) which monitors
the revolutions of the threading motor is taken as a reference for the
threading in and out duration.
3.2 No Rotation of the Left or the Right Reel
The signals sensed to check the rotation are the tacho pulses from the
left (WTL) and the right (WTR) reel.
3.3 No Rotation of the Headwheel Motor
The PG/FG signal is used for monitoring the headwheel motor. It is
derived from the e.m.f. of the non-current-carrying coil of the head-
wheel motor and indicates the position of the headwheel.
3.4 Error of the Capstan Motor
For monitoring the capstan motor the capstan tacho signal (FG) is
used.
3.5 Error Codes and Error Status
The last error code that occurred is stored in the EEPROM and is saved
even if the VCR is disconnected from the mains. To erase this error
code, press the "CLEAR" button on the remote control while in the
service mode.
