the Multi -Cut butt on allows you to cut a project up to nine ti mes on top of the original
cut lines. this allows the machine to cut thicker materials such as thin chipboard. It
is recommended that you set your blade depth to 6 when using Multi -Cut, since the
eff ecti veness of passing the blade over the same cut is limited by blade depth.
the current Multi -Cut value is displayed in the middle secti on of the Multi -Cut popup
box. You can change the value by pressing the Increase and Decrease butt ons and then
pressing the save butt on.

Load/unload Mat

When you have completed your project and are ready to cut, the next step is to mount
your paper on the cutti ng mat and press the Cut butt on. When you reach the next
screen, then:
1. Insert the mat into the machine with the arrow pointi ng toward the machine.
2. Hold the cutti ng mat fi rmly between the roller bar and the deck below it and
gently push the mat into the rollers.
3. Press the Load Mat butt on.
the Cricut Expression 2 machine will then load the paper. If it doesn't, pressing the same
butt on will unload the mat and allow you to start the process again. You can also load
the mat using the same Load/unload Mat butt on located on the Home screen.
once the mat has been loaded into the Cricut Expression 2 machine, press the Cut
butt on to begin cutti ng your project. Pressing the pause butt on will stop the cut. to
begin the cut again, press the butt on a second ti me. Pressing the stop butt on will stop
the cutti ng and prompt you by asking whether you want to eject the mat or return
to the Home screen to conti nue designing with the mat sti ll loaded into the Cricut
Expression 2 machine.
