– Filter
The KWL compact unit is equipped with fine filters on the outside and extract air side as standard (DIN EN 13779):
• Outside air/extract air:
Repl. air filter F5 extract air 1pc.
Repl. air filter F7 supply air 1pc.
Repl. air filter F5 extract air 1pc.
Repl. air filter F7 supply air 1pc.
Repl. air filter F5 extract air 1pc.

The internal pressure-dependent filter monitoring system signals the necessity of inspection and cleaning or
filter replacement on the controller. Irrespective of this, a 3-month inspection is recommended. They must be
exchanged for hygiene reasons after one year of operation at the latest. If the filters are damp or mouldy, they
must be exchanged immediately.

Heater battery reset function
The manual RESET takes place by pressing the reset lever (Fig.21/22), which is located directly on the electrical pre-he-
ater. Proceed as follows:
1. Depending on the installation situation, remove one of the two side inspection covers.
2. For a manual RESET, push the reset lever upward (Fig.22)

Removal of hot water heater battery
1. Dismantle the cross-flow heat exchanger as described in section 6.1
2. Loosen the fixing screws of the warm water heater battery (Fig.23)
3. Carefully remove the frost protection sensor (Fig.24/25)
4. Loosen the water connections and remove the warm water heater battery (Fig.26)
