Screen auto shut-off: Use the menu to enable the Power Save
option. To save power, the screen will automatically switch off after 1,
2 or 3 minutes when the camera is not being used. After this, only the
power indicator will still be lit.

With this function enabled, the screen will also automatically switch off
whilst recording. Press any button to reactivate the screen.
Auto shut-off on drained battery
If the battery is very weak, the icon will appear in the LCD, indi-
cating the battery needs to be recharged. When the icon lights up red
and flashes, the camera will automatically be switched off.

Camera setup

You can configure several basic settings in the main menu before using
the camera for the first time.
With the camera on, press the Display / Menu button to open the

main menu.
