Configuration for your new device may be set
remotely using a telephone with DTMF dialling.
To enter the set-up mode, please enter the
four-digit security code. To configure a certain
function, please enter the respective configu-
ration step code.
1 Start set-up mode
Remotely by using a telephone with DTMF
dialling.
▸ Call your Behnke Series 5 Intercom station

The Behnke Series 5 Intercom station will pick
up the call and answer with a beep
▸
Push the * key within two seconds after the
beep (in case more than two seconds elapse
before the * key is pressed, set-up mode may
also be activated by pressing the * key twice)

Enter the security code
(Default: 0 0 0 0) [beep][beep]
2 Enter the configuration step code
▸ Enter the configuration step code (cf. table of
configuration step codes) [beep] [beep]

Enter the desired value and finish by pressing
the # key [beep] [beep] [beep]

Configuration and Set-up
The configuration steps must not be made in
any given order. Entering an incorrect configu-
ration step code will result in a darker, slightly
longer error tone. After the error tone, you may
continue by entering the next configuration step
code. Set-up mode will be automatically termi-
nated after 30 seconds without entry.
3 Terminate set-up mode
